ISSB is the committee of officers who select the commissioned officers for the Pakistan armed forces, i.e. Air Force, Army, and Navy. It is founded in 1952 with the motto of selecting defenders of Pakistan. The person who wants to become an officer in the Pakistan army must pass the ISSB test. The quantity of selecting potential officers is 20,000 in a year.
The selection system for the candidates consists of different procedures such as psychological tests (intelligence tests, mechanical aptitude tests, personality tests), outdoor tests (group planning, group decisions, command tasks, individual obstacles), and interviews. The person who passed all these tasks was efficiently is considered eligible to be selected as an officer in the Pakistan army.
